Tattoo Aftercare
Dermshield/Saniderm Aftercare Instructions
• Keep the bandage on for a duration of 3-5 days, unless it begins to peel prematurely.
In case of excessive weeping, take off the bandage and substitute it with a fresh one.
• After 3-5 days, gently remove the bandage in the shower.
• Following the removal of the bandage, cleanse the tattoo with lukewarm water or antibacterial soap.
• Pat the area dry with a paper towel or air dry.
• Optional: Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion when the tattoo feels tight, dry or itchy.
Avoid: scratching, fragrance (lotion, soap, perfume), swimming, tight clothes, jewelry around the new tattoo, excessive sun directly on tattoo
Non-Adhesive Bandage or Plastic Wrap Aftercare Instructions
• Remove the bandage after 3-4 hours.
• Wash your tattoo with lukewarm water or antibacterial soap, then either allow it to air dry or gently pat it dry with a paper towel.
• Optional: Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion when the tattoo feels tight, dry or itchy.
